In my quick tests of the new NX1 H.265 transcoding ability to ProRes 422 performance was utterly stunning, almost realtime on my Macbook Pro Retina 15″ late 2013. Fixes an audio issue with some Canon 5D files.Better support for working with large numbers (many hundreds) of AVCHD files.Ensures audio and video tracks match in length in Adobe Premiere Pro.Fixes audio track mapping for MXF sources.Fixes an issue with AAC audio tracks that misreport their channel count (some YouTube files).Better support for GoPro Hero4 timecode.Improved stability when working with AVCHD on Mac OS X 10.8.More than just transcoding In addition to transcoding to professional formats like ProRes, DNxHD, and H. MOV, MP4 and MXF media can all be quickly converted to edit ready quicktime movies in ProRes or DNxHD. The trial version can be downloaded here. EditReady provides easy, fast and powerful transcoding for video professionals, without an overwhelming interface or outdated format choices. The first, and biggest, of these was the 1.2 update which went live right at the beginning of March. If you haven’t yet bought it EditReady costs $50 and is well worth it. EditReady has actually had two fairly significant updates recently. The app uses Intel’s QuickSync Video technology to transcode ProRes so it’s a lot faster than most of the competition.ĮditReady 1.2.1 is now available. This is my favourite transcoding solution, so great to see H.265 support.ĭivergentMedia (GH1 owners may remember them from Clip Wrap for AVCHD) did a superb job on EditReady for Mac users.
